Cristiano Ronaldo has sparked a flurry of speculation regarding a possible secret marriage to his partner, Georgina Rodriguez.
During his acceptance speech at the 2024 Globe Soccer Awards, the 39-year-old referred to Rodriguez as his “wife.” The event took place in Dubai, where Ronaldo won two prestigious awards: Best Middle Eastern Player and Top Goalscorer of All Time.
In his speech, he dedicated one of the awards to Georgina, who looked stunning in her outfit, and to his son, Cristiano Jr., who is 14.
The couple has been together since 2016 and shares two children, Alana Martina, 8, and Bella, 2, while Georgina also plays a significant role in raising Ronaldo’s three older kids.
Although they have never officially confirmed a marriage, Ronaldo’s remark has fans buzzing, leading many to speculate that they might have tied the knot.
A fan took to X to express, “Ronaldo can call Georgina ‘MY WIFE,’ but these crybabies will still claim they’re not married. Do you really think they’d invite you to the wedding?”

This past summer, the couple appeared on Ronaldo’s YouTube channel, where he introduced her as his wife.
After that, Ronaldo’s publicist told PEOPLE they had “no information on whether Cristiano is married to Georgina.”
