Ronaldo eclipsed Michel Platini (9) as the competition’s all-time leading scorer with a goal against Hungary in the 87th minute of Portugal’s group game at EURO 2020. Even though the holders were defeated in the Round of 16 by Belgium, he would go on to score four more goals in the tournament.
