Former Manchester United star Paul Pogba has revealed his initial response to Cristiano Ronaldo’s return to the club last summer.
Cristiano Ronaldo, 37, returned to Old Trafford last summer after a £13.5 million deal from Serie A giants Juventus.
Following the expiry of his contract with United, Pogba appears to be moving back to Juventus this summer.
According to the Daily Mail, he is about to sign a four-year contract with Juventus.
Pogba, 29, is releasing an Amazon video named ‘Pogmentary,’ which features his response to Ronaldo’s return to Manchester United.
According to the French midfielder:
“The first thing I thought was ‘how do you train with a Ballon d’Or winner?’ It’s a good challenge to see him train, what he does, what’s life like for a Ballon d’Or winner?”
Unfortunately, the great forward’s comeback did not assist the Red Devils improve their performance.
United completed the season sixth and trophyless, a far cry from the club’s customary standards when the 37-year-old previously played for them.
The Portuguese great was part of a tremendously successful United team during his first stay at Old Trafford.
He won the Premier League three times and the UEFA Champions League four times.
