It was a dream come true for YouTuber IShowSpeed, who finally met his idol Cristiano Ronaldo on June 17, 2023. IShowSpeed, whose real name is Darren Watkins Jr, is a YouTube sensation with 14.9 million subscribers who loves Manchester United and Ronaldo. He has been trying to meet his idol for a long time, travelling to Qatar, Old Trafford and Spain, but without success. That changed when Ronaldo greeted him after Portugal’s 3-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina in Lisbon. IShowSpeed was speechless and emotional as he hugged Ronaldo, took a selfie with him and did the ‘Siu’ celebration. He also showed Ronaldo his tattoo of the footballer’s face on his arm. The meeting was made possible by Leao, who had promised to help IShowSpeed when he chatted with him on FaceTime. IShowSpeed broke down in tears after meeting his hero.
