Vinicius Jr vs Guinea Skills Show 17/06/2023.
In a show of solidarity against racism, Brazil faced Guinea in a friendly match at the Stafe Front Stadium in Spain on June 17, 2023. The match was dedicated to Vinicius Jr, the Real Madrid forward who has been repeatedly targeted by racist chants and insults in LaLiga. Brazil dominated the game and scored four goals, with Joelinton opening the scoring in his debut, Rodrygo doubling the lead with a stunning strike, Eder Militao heading in the third and Vinicius Jr converting a penalty in the final minutes. Guinea put up a brave fight and scored a goal through Guirassy Serhou, who headed in a cross from Naby Keita. The match was the first of two friendlies for Brazil against African teams, as they prepare for the next World Cup qualifiers. They will play Senegal in Lisbon on June 20.
